Include you event in the Highland Park Calendar.
Highland Park People's Voice is forever interested in updating the calendars with exciting things going on in and around Highland Park! Here is how you can put your even in the calendar.
First, at least ten days before your event, gather the essential information in a brief message. We are limited in how many words we can put in the calendar. You will need to succinctly state the following:
1. Whether you want your event in the cultural calendar or the youth calendar. We do not update
the Citiy Hall calendar.
2. A descriptive title of your event: for example, "Funcamp, overnight camping in HP for youth."
3. Time, Day and Date: for example," 3:00pm Saturday August 11, to 3:00pm Sunday August 12, 2018."
4. Location with Address: for example: My Yard, 105 Youth Street, HP, 48203
5. Contact Info: for example, "Call Mama LiLi at 313-000-0000."
Second, send your information to 3Editor.PeoplesVoice@gmail.com. That's it! It's free! We will put your event on the calendar within 48 hours.
Unfortuantely, we cannot include any additional information in the calendar due to space constraints. If you would also like to make a more detailed community announcement, that will be possible in the future. We are planning an announcements page starting in March.
